Microneedling Skin Treatment Pre/Post Care 


To achieve maximum results from your treatment, it’s essential to follow the pre and post care.

​

After the procedure, the skin may be red and flushed. You may also experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity, within 2/3 days the skin will have returned to normal. Day 3-7 you may experience some peeling this is normal.

PRE Treatment

​

  • Complete a medical health consultation prior to your treatment or with your therapist.

  • Avoid waxing, shaving or other hair removal treatments 48 hours before any facial or skin treatment. Hair removal can sometimes make the skin sensitive and you may feel a little discomfort over the area that has had the hair removal.

  • No sunbathing, tanning beds or false tan 7 days prior.

  • Plan ahead before a big event to consider treatment down time - immediately after treatment skin may be a little red which is completely normal but may not want special plans for a few days. Your therapist can help plan treatments around events.

  • Don't over exfoliate the skin 7 days prior to a microneedling treatment

  • Drink plenty of water as this will help with post treatment down time.

  • Tip - Wash hair before as you will need to wash your face for 48 hours.

0 - 5 Hours After Microneedling

  • Avoid touching treated area

  • No exercise, no heat treatments, no showers/baths. Do Not get skin wet

  • No waxing/shaving over area

  • No sun exposure/extreme temperatures

  • DO apply Restyfluid with clean hands

​

Next Day Following Treatment

  • Apply bt-Infusion Brightening Mask - You can purchase these from Revive 

  • Apply Restyfluid serum - You can purchase these from Revive 

  • No sun exposure.

  • Shade, SPF - reapply every 2/3 hours

  • No makeup

​

2 - 7 Days After Treatment

  • Resume normal cleanse, moistriser & SPF

  • Apply Restyfluid as your Step 2 serum

  • No acids, exfoliants, retinols & derivatives

​

1 week Following treatment

  • Resume all normal home care product use as tolerated. Always use SPF

  • Please wait two weeks before a professional skin peel

  • Please wait 4-6 weeks miniumn before your next micro-needling treatment.
