Facial / Skin Treatment Pre/Post care 
To achieve maximum results from your treatment, it’s essential to follow the pre and post care.

PRE FACIAL

​

  • Complete a medical health consultation prior to your treatment or with your therapist.

  • Avoid waxing, shaving or other hair removal treatments 48 hours before a facial. Hair removal can sometimes make the skin sensitive and you may feel a little discomfort over the area that has had the hair removal.

  • No sunbathing, tanning beds or false tan 7 days prior to a facial.

  • Plan a facial in enough time before a big event, immediately after treatment skin may be a little red which is completely normal but may not what special plans that night. Your therapist can help plan treatments around events.

  • Don't over exfoliate the skin 7 days prior to a facial as your treatment will include an exfoliating treatment.

 

 

POST FACIAL

​

  • Avoid makeup or self tan for 8 hours

  • Avoid picking, squeezing or touching the area

  • Always use an SPF daily & maintain results with home care

  • We always recommend to avoid strong sun exposure, and sun beds

  • No heat treatments such as steam rooms and saunas, swimming or hot showers for 48 hours

  • Avoid any irritating treatments post treatment (waxing, threading, electrolysis, peels) for 24hrs

  • Avoid any other exfoliating skincare products for 5-7 days

  • Do not have any other facial skin care treatments within 48 hours

  • If any redness or irritation occurs please contact Revive Skin and Beauty

  • Drink plenty of water​​

ADVICE FOR OVER ALL SKIN HEALTH

​

  • Always cleanse skin morning and evening. Use a pre cleanse or double cleanse in the evening especially if wearing makeup

  • We would advise a toner, serum and moisturiser every day to optimise desired results

  • Use the correct products for your skin type - A skin consultation is great for this BOOK SKIN CONSULTATION

  • Avoid washing your face with soap and water or using facial wipes on the skin, as it dehydrates the skin.

  • Use SPF daily

  • Drink plenty of water 

  • Lots of fruit and vegetables for all those lovely nutrients to benefit skin health

  • Avoid drinking large amounts of alcohol

  • Avoid smoking

  • For long-term results, book in for a regular professional facial treatment.​​

 

CACI MICROCURRENT FACIAL

  • Please follow the same pre and post care above 

  • NOTE - While you can see results with one session, lasting results are achieved through a series of treatments. The exact number of sessions needed to lay a strong foundation depends on your lifestyle, age, health, muscle tone and condition of skin tissue, but is typically between 10 and 12 treatments. As the muscle memory takes over, you’ll only need a maintenance treatment every four to eight weeks. Speak to your therapist about CACI treatment packages.
